The rules for recording bonus logbook hours differ depending on your state.
NSW, QLD & ACT
When you take structured driving lessons with a Licence Help driving instructor in New South Wales, Queensland, or the Australian Capital Territory, you can log 3 hours of driving experience for every 1 hour of professional instruction, up to a maximum of 30 hours credited for 10 hours of lessons.
You can continue taking lessons after reaching the maximum bonus limit, but any additional lesson hours will be recorded at a standard 1:1 ratio.
Important: If your lesson is at night (between sunset and sunrise), you can only count 1 hour as night driving, while the remaining 2 hours are added to your daytime driving log.
TAS
In Tasmania, each hour of professional driving instruction gives you 1 extra bonus hour, with a maximum of 20 hours recorded for 10 hours of lessons.
